Keith Mann, the CEO of Dynamics Search partners, is pleased to announced the Keith and Keely Mann Scholarship for Professional Development. Mann has been a leader in the executive search field for more than 15 years and is particularly skilled in hiring strategy and hedge fund compensation. His corporation services more than 200 clients each year in several areas of the world, including the United States, Asia and Europe. The scholarship will go to one high school senior each year. The student must attend Uncommon Charter High School in Brooklyn, since Mann has partnered with the charter organization to help deserving students fund their education.
The scholarship is valued at $5,000 and students who want to apply must submit a 1,000-word essay. The essay must detail how a college degree can help the student to achieve his/her business goals upon graduation. Joe Frick, a college counselor at Uncommon Charter High School, says that he and the staff are grateful for the scholarship, since it gives a student an opportunity to attend college who wouldn’t have been able to do so without the financial aid.
The scholarship application process opened on February 26, 2016, and the winner of the scholarship was announced in March 2016. Uncommon Schools is committed to closing the achievement gap among students. The organization is committed to helping low-income students realize their dreams of becoming successful businesspeople. Keith Mann is a philanthropist as well as a prominent businessman, and as a proponent of education, he is glad to work with Uncommon Schools in this venture.
